Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Vibrant, very deep crimson
The nose is very complex and perfumed, showing varietal notes of cassis, dark cherry and cedar spice.
Harmony and balance are immediately apparent in this elegant but full-bodied wine. The palate is concentrated with a lovely fine-grained texture and great length. Rich berry and cassis fruit of great purity reflecting both the great vintage and the pristine environment of Coonawarra.
Simply roasted duck leg braised with mushrooms, onions and a touch of oyster sauce, accompanied by buttered sugar snap peas.

2018 - 2028
Vintage was early across the Coonawarra region in 2012, but was widely described as "excellent", with near perfect weather conditions producing fruit of outstanding quality. Cabernet Sauvignon was highly coloured, concentrated and varietal.
